Mary Alice Stinson Davis who was a resident of Pearl River County, Mississippi, all of her life, passed away on September 29, 2023, at the age of 89.
Mary was a member of Roseland Park Baptist Church, Picayune, Mississippi. Mary Enjoyed quilting, sewing, and was a member of a quilting club. She was active in church with her Sunday school class. Mary dedicated her life to her six children. She will be missed by many.
She is survived by her sons Julius F. Davis, Jr. (Sandra) and Carl Edward Davis (Judy Kay); Daughters Donna Davis McCain (Jim), Denise Davis Bales (Derwin), and Vickie Davis Smith (Dana); Daughter in Law Patti Davis; Brother Larry Stinson; 17 grandchildren: Anna Turnage (Derek), Stephanie Spivey, Angela Holly (Mark), Jeannie Dillard (Colbey), Billy Bales (Logan), Colby Davis (Jade), Nick Davis, Jessica Williams, Pamela Palmer (Nathan), Roderick Lewis (Connie), Dayton Smith (Carrie), Ashley Lewis, Dani Smith, Leanna Murphy, Jared Bales (Kirsten), Ivy Mitchell (Alex), and Scott McCain (Leslie); 34 Great Grandchildren and one Great Great Granddaughter.
She is preceded in death by her parents Julius Tobie Stinson and Frances Wales Stinson; Son Troy Wayne Davis; four Brothers and three sisters.
Visitation will be held from 10:00am until 11:00 am Wednesday, October 4, 2023, at Picayune Funeral Home. Services to begin at 11:00 a.m. in the Picayune Funeral Home chapel, officiated by Pastor Dan Young. Burial to follow at Carriere First Baptist Church Cemetery, Carriere, Mississippi.
