Mary Delaune, age 62, of Carriere passed away Wednesday, August 06, 2008 at Forrest General Hospital in Hattiesburg.
The funeral mass will be held Saturday, August 9th at 10:00 a.m. at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church, with Father Michael Snyder officiating. Burial will follow at Henleyfield Cemetery, under the direction of Picayune Funeral Home.Visitation will be held Friday, August 8th from 6:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m. at Picayune Funeral Home.
Mary, a former resident of New Orleans, LA, was a homemaker and a member of St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church. She loved sewing and reading.
She is survived by her husband of 46 years, Stanley Delaune, Jr. of Carriere; four sons, Christopher Delaune of Varnado, LA, Paul Delaune of Marrero, LA, Keith Delaune of Poplarville, and Stanley Delaune, III of Picayune; four daughters, Margaret Magee of Carriere, Katherine Delaune of Carriere, Staci Williams of Poplarville and Priscilla Gray of Alexandria, VA; two brothers, Warren and Eugene Cheramie; ten sisters, Joan Ann Walker, Carolyn Vernin, Marleen Heaton, Linda Alexander,
Dianne Hebert, Karen Cheramie, Toni Bennett, Charleen Berger,
Trudy Rippy and Betty Burnett; fourteen grandchildren, Christopher, Jr., Brandon, Ashley, Mary Rose, Allen, Paul, Jr., Bradley, Matthew, Colton, Keith II, Bethany, Caitlyn, Gabrielle, and Malachi; and three great-grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by two granddaughters, Hannah Delaune and Shelbi Williams.
