Mary Elizabeth Frierson Penton, age 60, of Picayune, Mississippi, passed away Wednesday, April 10, 2013.
Visitation will be held Friday, April 12, 2013 from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at Picayune Funeral Home. Funeral services will be Saturday, April 13, 2013 at 3:00 p.m. at Picayune Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be at Memorial Gardens Cemetery under the direction of Picayune Funeral Home.
Mrs. Penton was a life time resident of Pearl River County and Hancock County, a secretary, and a Christian. She truly dedicated her life to her grandchildren.
She is survived by her mother, Rose Alice Frierson; one son, Ron Haven Penton of Bay St. Louis; one daughter, Kristy Penton Lewis of Florence; one brother, Richard Frierson of Picayune; eight grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
She is preceded in death by her father, Adolph Frierson; one son, Robert W. Penton.
