Mary Ann Rizan

Mary Ann Rizan of Carriere, Mississippi, passed away on Thursday, April 11, 2019 at the age of 78.
Visitation will be 12:00 p.m. - 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, April 18, 2019 at Picayune Funeral Home. A Memorial Service will follow at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel.
Mary Ann was a native of New Orleans and a lifelong resident of Chalmette, Louisiana and relocated to Picayune after hurricane Katrina. She was known by many as "Snoball Queen" of Rizan's Snoball's for 40 years. She loved to cook for her family, helping others before helping herself, spending time with her grandchildren and family and going to the casino.
She is survived by her husband of 58 years, Carl Rizan of Carriere, Mississippi; her children, Greg P. Rizan (Kathy) of Covington, Louisiana; Gina E. Rizan of Picayune, Mississippi; Tara R. Fountain (Chris) of Picayune, Mississippi; sister, Antoinette Rita Bordelon (Mack) of Poplarville, Mississippi; nine grandchildren and twenty great-grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Vincent and Antoinette Greco Morales; two brothers, Joseph Vincent Morales and Dominick Joseph Morales; grandchild, Heather Rizan and great-grandchild, Caylee Rizan.
Mary Ann was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt and friend who will be truly missed by all who knew her and loved her.
