Mary Dell Smith, age 94, of Laurel, Mississippi passed away Thursday, April 12, 2018.
Visitation will be held Sunday, April 15, 2018 from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. at Picayune Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow at 2:00 p.m. at Picayune Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be at Henleyfield Cemetery under the direction of Picayune Funeral Home.
Mrs. Smith was a homemaker, and a member of Hopewell Baptist Church.
She is survived by son, Lee Smith (Linda) of Laurel; daughter, Myrna Dell Smith of Meridian; and one grandchild, Megan Smith.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Francis and Josephine Lumpkin; husband, James Arthur Smith; brothers, Clyde Lumpkin, Dupuy Lumpkin, and Hiram Lumpkin; sister, Elly Nae Robertson, and Virgie Burge.
