Mary Ethel Stilwell

Mary Ethel Stilwell of Amite, Louisiana passed away on Wednesday, January 16, 2019 at the age of 91.
Visitation will be held 9:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m. on Monday, January 21, 2019 at Picayune Funeral Home. Funeral Services will follow at 11:00 a.m. in the Picayune Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
Mary enjoyed planting her vegetable garden and working in her yard. She loved to dance and was a devoted Atlanta Braves fan.
She is survived by her daughters, Glenda Lovell (Mike) of North Carolina; Mary Ann Trosclair (Nathaniel) of Amite, Louisiana; Diana Waguespack (Ralph) of Gulfport, Mississippi; and Gail Wininger (Charlie) of Gretna, Louisiana; eleven grandchildren and 25 great-grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Benny Cooper and Essie Snipes Cooper; her husband, Bill Stilwell; her sisters, Blanch, Ruby and Geraldine; her daughter, Sherry Stilwell and one great-grandchild, Devon Chase Tullier.
