Matthew Leverne "Pig Rev." Davis, age 38, passed away Monday, May 25, 2009 at his residence.
Funeral Services will be Thursday, May 28, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. at Church of the Way. Burial will follow in New Palestine Cemetery.
Matthew was the owner of Davis Remodeling and Repair, a member of The Biker Church, and Chaplain of T.B.C. Riders. He was the founder of the Second Chance Program in Poplarville.
After Matthew surrendered his life to Christ 3-½ years ago, he lived his life spreading God's word and promises to others. He could reach others in all walks of life because he walked it before he surrendered to God, even during his illness he encouraged others.
He is survived by his parents, Ran H. and Linda Ellis Davis of Wentworth, Missouri ;his wife, Krystal H. Davis of Picayune ;three sons, Matthew T. Davis of Bay St. Louis, Mississippi ,Ray "Louis" Billeaud of Kiln, Mississippi and Nicholas J. Billeaud of Picayune ;two daughters, Chasity A. Davis of Bay St. Louis and Maranda L. Davis of Picayune ;three brothers, Ran Davis, Jr. of Wentworth, Missouri ,Nathan Davis of Poplarville and Ronnie Davis of Wentworth, Missouri ;one sister, Brenda Sams of Biloxi, Mississippi ;one grandchild, Madison Parrish and another grandchild due in October.
