Melissa Diane Lee, 56, of the Caesar community in Carriere, MS passed away on April 19, 2022. Melissa was born on May 20, 1965, to George and Jean Wactor in Picayune, MS.
Melissa was preceded in death by her father George Wactor, sister Barbara Razo and her grandparents Julius and Cornelia Dossett. She is survived by her husband Daniel Lee, her three children Brittney Champagne, Nicholas Lee (Angel), Dakota Lee, three grandchildren Brylynn Lee, Drake Adams, Jaxtyn Champagne, her mother Jean Wactor, six siblings Terry Wactor (Stacy), Sabrina Woodward (Woody) Jane Haverty (David), Star Kraus, Karen Dulac, Georgia Correy, her beloved Nana, Lois and Uncle Ronnie Dossett, along with numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services for Melissa Diane Lee will be held at Union Baptist Church on Saturday, April 23, 2022, at 11:00am. Visitation will be from 10:00am-11:00am.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, an organization Melissa felt strongly about.
Arrangements are under the direction of Picayune Funeral Home.
