Michael Wayne Frierson Jr.

Michael Wayne Frierson, Jr., 56, of Biloxi, Mississippi, died on June 28, 2023.

Michael was a Father, Husband, Brother, Uncle, Grandpa, and a Friend. He was a veteran of the United States Army. He loved his children and grandchildren more than life itself. He loved the Saints, motorcycles, and was a sports fanatic. He was a mastermind in the kitchen; loved his rock and roll music; and most of all, roller coasters. He was an adventurous person. He loved to go to Walmart and especially when one of his daughters would accompany him. He was a very healthy person up until last year when he was diagnosed with brain cancer. He was loved by all who knew him and will be sorely missed.

He is preceded in death by his mother, Billie Elaine Smith; one brother, Joseph Wigginton; grandparents, Henery and Dorthy Frierson.

Survivors include his wife, Mary Frierson of Biloxi; his children, Tiffany Goods of Pascagoula, MS, Candy Pruitt of D'Iberville, MS, Ashlynn Frierson of Gautier, MS; Kelly Sargeant; grandchildren, Londyn Hudson, Cornilius Hudson, Javarri Robinson; his father, Michael Wayne (Patricia) Frierson, Sr.of McNeill, MS; sisters, Deborah Dillmore of Gretna, LA, Kimberly Spence of Carriere, MS, Shonda Dillard of Picayune, MS, Tessa Burns of Picayune, MS, Victoria Robertson of Alabama; one brother, Michael David Frierson of Hattiesburg, MS; a close cousin, Brandy High of Carriere, MS, and a host of nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.

Funeral services held at New Bethel Full Gospel Church (11100 Caesar Necaise Road, Picayune, MS, 39466) on Thursday, July 6, 2023 at 10:00 am. Rev. Oren Spence will officiate the service. Burial with military honors will follow in McNeill Cemetery (39 Alphabet Avenue, Carriere, MS, 39426). Visitation will be one hour prior to the service.
