Mildred Odell Mason
January 17, 1927 — March 12, 2012
Mildred "Odell" Stockstill Mason entered this life on January 17, 1927 and on March 12, 2012 she went home to be with her Lord, leaving behind a beautiful legacy of faith. Her fingerprints are indelibly impressed upon the hearts and souls of her family and friends.
She is preceded in death by her husband Doyle Mason, parents Otis and Martha Stockstill, her siblings Alvie Stockstill and Vonzell Stockstill Bryant, one grandchild Marinda E. Dillard, one great-grandchild Ryan Spence.
She is survived by her children Dean (John) Hyatt, Roger (Rose) Mason, Virginia "Ginger" (Doug) Dillard, Herbert Mason, Alvie (Luanna) Mason, Donald (Susan) Mason, Celia (Jeff) Swann and Jeff Mason; Thirty grandchildren, thirty-six great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild; a host of beloved nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held Wednesday, March 14, 2012 from 11:00 a.m. until 12:00 noon at Picayune Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow at 12:00 noon at Picayune Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Ted Strain and Bro. Dustin Wright officiating. Burial will be at Hillcrest Cemetery.
