Myrtle Parr Baehr, age 88, of Picayune passed away Friday, September 27, 2013 at Highland Community Hospital.
Visitation will be held Tuesday, October 1, 2013 from 9:30-10:30 a.m. at Picayune Funeral Home. Mass will be at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church in Picayune, Mississippi at 1100 a.m. with Father Mike Snyder officiating. Burial will be at St. Bernard Memorial Gardens in Chalmette, Louisiana under the direction of Picayune Funeral Home.
Myrtle was a accounting technician for the U.S. Government and a member of St. Charles Catholic Church.
Survivors include: one son, Ronald J. Thompson of Slidell, Louisiana; one daughter, Kathleen Schwab of Carriere, Mississippi, four grandchildren, Jennifer Nickens, Steven Thompson, Kristin Schwab, and Bobby Schwab, III; and two great-grandchildren, Brendan Nickens and Ashlyn Nickens.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Anatole Parr, Sr. & Isabel Becnel Parr; husband, Walter "Ty" Baehr, a son, Kenneth Thompson, grandson, Jeffrey Thompson, two brothers; Eugene Parr and Anatole Parr, Jr. and her sister Ida Bell Richard.
