Nellie Ruth Carroll

Nellie Ruth Russell Carroll, age 77, of Picayune, MS passed away Friday, October 5, 2012 at Gulfport Memorial Hospital.
Nellie was a resident of Hancock County for seven years and is a retired bookkeeper.
She is survived by four sons, James Byron Carroll, Sr. of Columbia, MS, Gerald La Rue Carroll of Poplarville MS, Ronald Ray Carroll of Picayune, MS, Jay Timothy Carroll of Luling, LA and one daughter, Sheila Nell Zoll of Orlando, FL. She had one brother, James Z. Russell of Pearl River, LA, and three sisters, Faye Melton of Stockton, CA, Lora Rushing of Bradenton, FL and Ernestine McBeth Hayes of Picayune, MS. She is also survived by nine grandsons, two granddaughters, two great-grandchildren and her loving companion Robert Fazende.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Ernest Baxter Russell and Minnie Ruth Stewart Russell and her beloved husband, Waldon Carroll.
Visitation will be held Friday, October 12, 2012 from 9:00 am. until 10:00 am. At Picayune Funeral Home. Funeral Services will follow at 10:00 am. with Bro. Jim Bienhard officiating. Burial will be at Gibson Cemetery.
