Norma Jean Parsons, age 78, of Picayune, Mississippi passed away Tuesday, January 10, 2017.
A memorial service will be held by the family at Union Baptist Church on Saturday, January 14, 2017 with Bro. Brian Tatum officiating.
Mrs. Parsons was a resident of Picayune for 30 years, and a homemaker.
She is survived by two sons, Scott (Melissa) Powers of Carriere, and Phillip (Terry) Powers of Brookhaven; one daughter Leslie (Jeff) Oalmann of Picayune; one sister, Charlene Mirgon of Jayess; nine grandchildren; 5 step-grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
She is preceded in death by her parents Oscar and Lillie Letson; husband Russell Parsons; one son, Britten Parsons; four brothers, Calvin, Emmitt, Hayston, and B.D. Letson; four sisters, Dora Brashear, Mary Mirgon, Lois Letson, and Mattie Collins; and one grandson, Tyler Powers.
