Phyllis Raye Strahan Bennett, age 69, of Picayune, Mississippi passed away Monday, December 19, 2016.
Visitation will be held Thursday, December 22, 2016 at Picayune Funeral Home from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m.
Mrs. Bennett was a resident of Pearl River County for 34 years, and was a member of the Piney Wood Cloggers.
She is survived by her husband James T. Bennett Jr., of Picayune; one son James Arthur Bennett and his wife Jenny of Picayune; two brothers, Bobby Strahan and his wife Pat of Poplarville, and Danny Strahan and his wife Sally of McNeill; one sister, Gwen Bush of Poplarville; two grandchildren, Christopher James Bennett, and Kristen Rayne Bennett; and numerous nephews and nieces.
She is preceded in death by her parents Buford Strahan and Opal Clay Strahan; one brother, Tommy Strahan; and one sister Janice Strahan.
