Raymond "Ray" Alls Sr.

Raymond "Ray" Alls Sr., a proud veteran and a dedicated construction worker, passed away on March 10, 2025, at the age of 76 in Picayune, Mississippi. Ray was born on March 17, 1948, in Helena, Arkansas.

He leaves behind his loving wife, Sheila Alls, with whom he shared 26 wonderful years of marriage. Ray is also survived by his son, Jessie Deford Alls, and his daughter, Kasandra Nichole Alls. He embraced his role as a stepfather to Michelle Dedman (John), Cheryl Lowery (Biran), Stacey White (Ricky), Glenn House, Reid Stewart (Angie), and Lawrance Krantz.

In addition to his immediate family, Ray is cherished by his brothers, James Fortner, Gerald Fortner, and John Fortner. He was a doting grandfather to 15 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren, and he celebrated the arrival of 8 great-great grandchildren.

Ray was preceded in death by his son, Raymond Alls Jr., his father Raymond Alls, and mother Mae Foster.

 He will be remembered for his love of family, dedication to his work, and the strong bonds he created throughout his life.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a date to be determined.
