He is preceded in death by his parents, Ronald W. Bourgeois, Sr. and Nona Smith Bourgeois.
Family members include his wife, Dorothy Foster Bourgeois; five children, Richard W. Bourgeois, Jr., Brandon J. (Morgan) Bourgeois, Jason (Hanna) Bourgeois, Ryan S. (Karen Uli) Patterson, Angela K. Bourgeois; two brothers, Ronald (Debbie) Bourgeois, Jr., Randy Bourgeois; one sister, Wendalyn (Matthew) Seals; and a host of grandchildren, extended family, and friends.
