Richard Albert Cudd

Ricky Cudd, 50 years old, was born July 7, 1966 in Picayune, Mississippi and was a life long resident. On January 15, 2017, Ricky went to be with his precious Lord and Savior.

Ricky graduated from Picayune Memorial High School, Pearl River Community College and the University of Southern Mississippi. He was a member of New Palestine Baptist Church where he served as a devoted deacon.

Ricky was a dedicated Walmart associate for over 19 years. Always with a smile on his face and a twinkle in his eye he used every opportunity to share the love of Christ with others. Ricky embodied the Greatest Commandments from Matthew 22:35-40. He loved the Lord with all of his heart, all of his soul, and with all of his mind and loved his neighbor as himself to fulfill the Great Commission.

Ricky loved his family and leaves behind his parents Richard and Doris Cudd, Sr.; His brother and sister-in-law Michael and Leslie Cudd along with his two nephews Reid Cudd and Dawson Cudd. Ricky will be greatly missed, but leaves a legacy of sharing God's love with others.

Visitation for Richard Albert Cudd, Jr. will be on Wednesday, January 18th 10:00-12:00 at New Palestine Baptist Church with the service at 12:00. Dr. Josh Braddy and Rev. Beau Comeaux will officiate the service. Burial will be at New Palestine Cemetery under the direction of Picayune Funeral Home.In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to New Palestine Baptist Church, 2336 Palestine Road, Picayune, MS 39466.
