Richard "Pete" Eugene Rivers of Carriere, Mississippi passed away on Sunday August 15, 2021, at the age of 76.
Pete was a long-time resident of Carriere. He was an antique car collector and loved his family. He will be greatly missed by many.
He is survived by his wife of 59 years, JoAnn Rivers; sons: Richard, Johnny, and Mark Rivers; Daughters: Cindy Lumpkin, Pam Gordon, and Dawn Huber; 21 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Richard Marion Rivers, and Bertha Jean Barrett; sisters, Mariam "Sissy" Rivers and Clara Ann Rivers.
