Robert Louis Benson, Sr., age 86, of Slidell, Louisiana passed away Tuesday, October 8, 2013.
A graveside service will be held Tuesday, October 15, 2013 at Memorial Gardens Cemetery at 10:00 a.m.
Mr. Benson was a Veteran of the U.S. Navy.
He is survived by son, Robert L. Benson, Jr. of Slidell; daughters, Sherry Benson McInnis of Baton Rouge, Becky Benson Morley of Johnson City, TN and Debbie Benson Vann of Hamilton, VA; brother, Billy Benson of Clarksdale, MS; nine grandchildren; and fifteen great-grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Arthur and Helen Benson; and his wife, Janie Ruth Lowe Benson.
