Robert Lyles Ferreira, age 91, of Carriere, Mississippi passed away Friday, July 12, 2013.
A private family memorial service will be held.
Robert was an electrician for 38 years, a veteran of the U.S. Navy, attended Resurrection Life and he loved to bowl. He was a member of the Picayune Lions Club and The International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers Local 130.
He is survived by his wife Betty Ferreira of Carriere; two sons, Brian D. (Nicki) Ferreira of Picayune, Robert R. Augustin of Metairie, Louisiana; four daughters, Linda F. Mace of Covington, Louisiana, Patricia (Eric) Switzer of McKinney, Texas, Peggy A. (Glen) Miley of Carriere and Elizabeth Erickson ; twelve grandchildren, four great-grandchildren; and special family members, Debra Brown and Stuart Brown.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Irwin and Loretta Ferreira; and son, Robert L. Ferreira, Jr.
In lieu of flowers the family request donations be made to Forgiven Ministries, 29 Ray Wheat Dr., Poplarville, MS 39470.
