Robert Erwin Frierson

Robert "Robbie" Erwin Frierson, age 62, of Poplarville passed away on Wednesday, February 22, 2012 at Pearl River County Hospital in Poplarville.
Visitation will be Thursday, February 23, 2012 from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at Picayune Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, February 24, 2012 at Picayune Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Wayne Rice officiating. Burial will follow at New Palestine Cemetery.
Robbie was a life time resident of Pearl River County, worked at Picayune Industries "The Centre" and was a snack vendor at Chimney Square. He loved to listen to WRJW and many people will remember him because he requested a song at the end of every day.
He was a member of Mt. Calvary Baptist Church, loved to read his Bible and he loved God. He was very polite, loving, kind and his smile was contagious.
He is survived by his father, James Hurlen "Shorty" Frierson of Poplarville; One brother, Kenneth Ray Frierson of Picayune; One nephew, Kenneth Ray Frierson, Jr. of Grenada, Mississippi; One niece, Rebecca D. McQuiston of California; Three aunts, Ola Rae Moree of Picayune, Bonnie E. Dillard of Picayune and Barbara Ann Smith of Poplarville.
He is preceded in death by his mother, Dorothy "Dot" Dillard Frierson and his brother, Larry Frierson.
