Robert Maurice Mars, age 71, of Picayune, Mississippi passed away Wednesday, December 10, 2014.
Visitation will be held Sunday, December 14, 2014 from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Picayune Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be Monday, December 15, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. with Bro. Scott Downes officiating. Burial will be at Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
Robert was a lifetime resident of Picayune, a boat Captain, and a Baptist.
He is survived by his daughters, Robin Mars Stewart and her husband Gordon of Carriere, and Stephanie Mars Lott and her husband Shane of Carriere; brothers, Joe Mars, Randy Mars, and Roy Mars; sisters, Faye Furey, Jody Mars, Julie Alberta Murphy, and Roda Page; and grandchildren, Shelby Lott, Madison Lott, and Jacob Lott.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Albert Mars and Ethel Mae Davis Mars; wife Rebecca Mars; brother John Mars; and sister, Mary Demnt.
