Robert Necaise, Sr. of Pearlington, Mississippi passed away on Monday, November 22, 2021, at the age of 75 in the comfort of his home.
Robert was a lifelong resident of the Logtown community and was of the Baptist faith. He was a tugboat captain, working on boats all over the world. He will be greatly missed.
He is survived by his loving wife of 30 years, Sherry Worsham Necaise; sons, Robert Necaise (Tommy) of Algiers, LA, Kurt Necaise of Pearlington, MS, and Jonathan Necaise of New Orleans, LA; daughters, Pamela White of Pearlington, MS, Candice Susan of Tickfaw, LA, Paige (Autumn) Necaise of New Orleans, LA, and Faith (Tayte) Poche' of Bay St. Louis, MS; brother, Donald (Jewel) Necaise of Bay St. Louis, MS; sisters, Connie (James) Brister of Slidell, LA and Kathy (Vince) Frisella of Gretna, LA, eight grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren and one great-great grandson.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Robet Necaise and Hazel Ruffin Necaise; and one sister, Bert Harvey.
Visitation will be held 9:00 a.m.-11:00 a.m., Saturday, November 27, 2021, at First Southern Baptist Church, 5489 Hwy 604, Pearlington, MS 39572. Service will follow at 11:00 a.m. officiated by Rev. Jim Allen with a graveside service at Logtown Cemetery in Pearlington.
