Robert B. Sniatkowski, age 90, of Picayune, Mississippi passed away Thursday, July 25, 2013.
"Mr. Bob" was born in Detroit, Michigan on May 27, 1923. Bob moved to Picayune, Mississippi in 1980 for his job where he was a manufacturing engineer.
Bob is survived by his two sisters, Rosemary Sommerfeld and Estelle Millen, and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins. He is preceded in death by his first wife Wyn Ellen and his second wife Shirley Thomas and by his parents, John and Stella Sniatkowski.
Bob's passion in life was golf. He was an expert golf club maker whose attention to detail made many happy customers. Bob had customers not only in Picayune where he was a member at Millbrook Golf Club, but around the country. Bob made so many close friends through his craft and he will surely be missed.
Bob belonged to St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church.
Visitation will be held Sunday, July 28, 2013 from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at Picayune Funeral Home, 815 South Haugh Ave, Picayune, MS 39466. The funeral Mass will be held Monday, July 29, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church at 1000 Goodyear Blvd, also in Picayune.
In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to your favorite charity or to the V Foundation for Cancer research (jimmyv.org) or The Senior Center in Picayune.
