Robert Louis St.Amand, Sr., of Carriere, Mississippi passed away Wednesday, August 14, 2019 at the age of 86 in the comfort of his home.
Robert was a resident of Carriere, Mississippi for forty-five years. Robert was a Millwright that specialized in mechanical machinery at nuclear, chemical and powerplants. He was a Veteran from serving in the United States Army, also a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in Picayune, Mississippi. He was highly recognized as a genuine person in church and amongst his family.
Robert is survived by two sons: Robert L. St.Amand Jr. of Carriere, Mississippi, Jeffrey M.
St.Amand of Slidell, Louisiana; one daughter, Melody S. Williams of Pearl River, Louisiana; one sister: Pat Gonzales of Florida; nine grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his wife Margaret St.Amand; His former wife Ann St.Amand; parents: Sidney St.Amand and Emily Joubert; two sisters: Myrtle Maynard and Louise Lopinto.
A Celebration of Life will be held at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in Picayune, Mississippi, Saturday, August 24, 2019 at 3:00 p.m.
