Roger D. Mitchell, age 65, of Nicholson passed away Sunday, April 26, 2009 at Highland Community Hospital.
A Memorial Service will be held Tuesday, April 28th at 6:00 p.m. at Church of God of Prophecy at 1811 E. Canal St. in Picayune.
Roger was a native of Logtown, MS, a former resident of Texas, a heavy equipment operator and a Baptist.
He is survived by his sons, Sammy Mitchell of Nicholson ,Mike Mitchell of Saucier ,David Mitchell of Picayune
;brother, Willard Mitchell of Poplarville and one grandchild
He is preceded in death by his parents, Jesse and Lucy Mitchell ;brothers, J.W. Mitchell,J. C. Mitchell
and "Sonny" Oliver Mitchell;sisters, Jessie Mae Frierson and Dorothy "Dot"
