Rosalie McCarthy, age 71 of Pearl River, LA, passed away Wednesday, May 27, 2009 at West Jefferson Medical Center.
A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, May 30, 2009 at 1:00 p.m. at New Beginnings Church, 330 Robert Blvd., Slidell, with Pastor Morris St. Angelo officiating. Visitation will be from 12:00 noon until time of service at the church.
Rosalie, a lifetime resident of the Pearl River, LA area, retired from the St. Tammany Parish School System as the Cafeteria Manager and was a member of the New Beginnings Church in Slidell.
She is survived by her mother, Leona Henley McQueen of Pearl River, LA; a daughter, Denise Walker of Pearl River, LA ;two brothers, Carl McQueen of Pearl River, LA and David McQueen, both of Pearl River, LA
three grandchildren, Lisa, Charlie and Alisha;nine great-grandchildren, Jessica, Tori, Justin, Chelcie,Emily, Savannah, Brenen, Hyden and Olivia ;one great-great-grandchild, Makenzie.
She is preceded in death by her father, Clarence McQueen ;husband, Charles McCarthy ;daughter, Rhonda Beiser
