Ruben Diaz Beronda

Ruben Diaz Beronda, a beloved son, friend, and adventurer, left this world on March 25, 2025, at the young age of 31. Born on March 20, 1994, in the breathtaking region of Asturias, Spain, Ruben’s vibrant spirit encapsulated the beauty of his homeland, a flame that burned brightly in every moment of his life.

From an early age, Ruben was known for his warm smile and generous heart. He was a person who genuinely loved to connect with others, possessing a social charm that drew people to him like moths to a flame. His kindness was reflected in his countless friendships and the joy he brought into every gathering. Whether it was sharing laughter over a fishing trip or exciting tales of his travels, Ruben’s love for life resonated deeply with everyone fortunate enough to know him.

Moving to Tampa Florida, Ruben embraced his new home while never forgetting his roots. He carried the pride of being Spanish with him, often sharing stories of his childhood and the memories woven into the fabric of his upbringing. His passion for soccer blossomed during his youth, where it became apparent that he was not just an athlete but a teammate and a friend. Soccer taught him about camaraderie and sportsmanship, values he carried with him long after he traded his cleats for fishing rods.

Ruben had a zest for adventure that was infectious. He loved spending time outdoors, often exploring lakes and rivers where he could cast his line and enjoy nature's tranquility. Riding jet skis and zooming around on 4-wheelers filled his weekends with laughter and excitement, moments cherished among friends who adored his company.

Travel was another of Ruben’s great passions. He loved exploring new places, immersing himself in different cultures and experiences, leaving an indelible mark wherever he went. His heart was always open, welcoming new friendships and unforgettable memories, and he was never shy about expressing his love for family. Family meant the world to Ruben, a precious touchstone in his fast-paced life.

Left to cherish Ruben's memories are his parents, Luis Diaz and Migdalia Beronda and sister Sandra Diaz Beronda. 

Though his time with us was far too short, Ruben’s legacy is one of kindness, love, and exuberance for life. He touched the hearts of many, and while we grieve his loss, we celebrate the moments he shared with us. He leaves behind an enduring reminder to be compassionate, to embrace adventure, and to cherish the bonds we create with those we hold dear.

Ruben Diaz will be dearly missed but forever remembered in the stories, laughter, and love that he so magnificently shared throughout his life.
