Ruth Delories Sumrall of Carriere, Mississippi passed away Tuesday, March 31, 2020 at the age of 84, in the comfort of her home surrounded by family.
Ruth was a lifelong resident of Carriere, Mississippi. She enjoyed researching her genealogy and family history. She adored her cats and loved her family deeply.
She is Survived by four daughters, Patricia Ann Myrick, Terri Lynn Smith, Delories Eileen Broadhead (Joel), and Nellie Renee Scheel (Eddie); grandchildren, Steven Myrick, James Smith (Lashawn), Micheal Smith (Kimberly), Jeffery Smith, Christy Gross (Dean), Megan James (Eric), Damon Spradley (Kayla), Carrie Jo Kelly, Jim Knotts (Rebecca), Levi Sumrall (Brittany), Ryan Sumrall, Wesley Sumrall (Marissa), Chris Blackwell, Heather Morales (Justin),Jeremy Blackwell (Lacey),and Haley Blackwell; thirty-seven great-grandchildren; ten great-great-grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Otto Sumrall; mother, Cleo Campbell; father, Levi Spears; stepfather, Stuart Campbell; son, Levi Otto Sumrall; one sister, Dorothy Marie Spears.
Services will be held by family at a later date.
