Ryan Wesley Kennedy, a kindhearted soul known for his infectious smile, was born on November 16, 1979, in Picayune, Mississippi. He passed away on April 9, 2025, in Slidell, Louisiana, at the age of 45. He leaves behind a legacy that touched the lives of many.
Ryan was a devoted family man, his proudest accomplishments being his children: son Sean Kennedy and daughters Kaylee and Alyssa Kennedy. He found immense joy in nurturing and supporting his children, fostering a warm and loving environment where laughter thrived. His affection for his family was matched only by the love he shared with his late wife, Danielle Kennedy, with whom he is now reunited in Heaven. Her memory remained a guiding light in Ryan's life.
Ryan was not only a dedicated family man; he was also widely recognized for his passion for life. He loved fishing, watching football, and was particularly fond of the vibrant gatherings surrounding crawfish boils, where family and friends came together to create memories over shared meals and laughter. His engaging personality drew people in, and he had a talent for making every occasion special, no matter how ordinary.
He is survived by his loving mother, Pamela Kennedy, and father, Wesley Kennedy, as well as his dear sister, Ashley Kennedy. Ryan also held a special place in the hearts of his extended family, including his cherished MawMaw, Betty Stockstill, his aunt Bridget, and his beloved nieces, Jade and Amber. Each of them will carry forward his spirit and the lessons he imparted through his kindness and generosity.
As we remember Ryan Wesley Kennedy, let us celebrate a life well-lived, characterized by love, laughter, and an unwavering commitment to family and friends. His legacy will continue to impact those he leaves behind, serving as a beautiful reminder of the joy he brought to the world.
