Sadie "Linda" Moore, age 65, of Picayune, Mississippi passed away on March 16, 2013 at her residence.
Linda was born January 25, 1948 in Georgia to Coy and Sadie Maddox. She moved to Plaquemines Parish Louisiana as a young child and that is where she met and married her soul mate David Ray Moore on August 12, 1966. She was a graduate of Buras High School. She was a member of the Picayune Church of Christ. Linda was a little league baseball coach, sports coordinator and played softball and basketball. Linda was the most amazing woman and guardian angel that anyone ever had the pleasure of meeting. She was our rock and we were hers.
Linda is survived by her mother, Sadie; husband David; brother, Lil Coy Maddox and wife Amy; sister, Janice Patton and husband Terry; her children, Maria Batis Moore, Lisa Bennett Watkins, Steven Moore and wife Amanda, Donna Moore Duck and husband Bo, Jessica Perry and husband Travis, Leigh Moore Burnette and husband John and Boo Moore and wife Melanie; as well as eighteen grandchildren, John, Kimberley, David, Drew, Duval, Tyree, Brett, Sarah, Cohen, Trace, Christian, Shiah (Mr. Moe), Myeko (Mae), Jaden, Nichoel, Evan, Justin and Brayden. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and many loving extended family and friends.

A celebration of her life will be Sunday, March 24, 2013 at 12:00 p.m. at the Picayune Church of Christ, 2005 Cooper Road, Picayune, MS 39466.
