Sallie "Eris" Bounds

Sallie Eris Bounds, age 92, of Picayune, Mississippi passed away Thursday, November 17, 2016 in Picayune.
Visitation will be held Saturday, November 19, 2016 from 1:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. at Picayune Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow at 3:00 p.m. at Picayune Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Beau Comeaux officiating. Burial will be at New Palestine Cemetery.
Mrs. Bounds lived in Picayune for 68 years, a member of Westlawn Baptist Church, and taught Sunday School for many years at Mt. Calvary Baptist Church. She was a homemaker, who loved gardening and sewing; and a loving wife, mother, and grandmother.
She is survived by one son, Charles Claiborne Bounds, Jr. (Glenda); four grandchildren, Tim Graham (Tonya), Christa Bounds Bowman (Jeff), Mark Bounds (Michele), and Dana Graham Wristers (Chris); nine great-grandchildren, Molly Cate Bowman, Charles "Chaz" Claiborne Bounds, III, Slade Bounds, Brean Graham, Graham Wristers, Morgan Wristers, Dylan Wristers, Corbett Bowman, and Blake Frazier; one sister, Mary Sue Mitchell (James); and son-in-law, Billy Graham.
She is preceded in death by her parents Chester and Sadie Sanders; husband Charles Claiborne Bounds, Sr.; one daughter, Linda Ruth Graham; three brothers, Aubrey Sanders, Pershel Sanders, and Rudolph Sanders; and one sister, Iris Johnson.
