Shelton Temples

Shelton Temples, age 76, of Picayune passed awayDecember 6, 2009 at Highland Community Hospital.

Visitation will be Tuesday, December 8, 2009 from 6:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m. at Picayune Funeral Home. Funeral Service will be Wednesday, December 9th at 12 noon Salem Missionary Baptist Church, with Elder Gary Sumrall officiating. Burial will follow at New Palestine Cemetery.

Mr. Temples was a member of Salem Missionary Baptist Church and served in the U.S. Navy.

He is survived by: his wife of 52 years, Lena Temples of Picayune; two sons, Michael Temples of Picayune and Joey Temples (Shonna) of Picayune; two daughters, Karen Robbins (Jeff) of Picayune and Karla Kendrick (Keith) of Picayune;two brothers, Seamon Temples of Bogalusa, LA and Melvin Temples both of Bogalusa, La; two sisters, Beckie Crain of Pine, LA and Bessie Griffith of Lucedale, MS.;four grandchildren, four step-grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
