Sherry L. Johnson, 70, of Picayune, Mississippi, passed away on Tuesday, April 25, 2023.
Sherry was a homemaker and a mother. She had an enormous love for her family - close and far away. The door to her home was always open to the many people she took in and loved as her own. She will be remembered with love and kindness by countless one's whose lives and hearts she touched.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Sam Williams and Hilma Stewart Williams; one son, David R. Mitchell; and one brother, Robin Williams.
Survivors include one son, Sammy Mitchell; siblings, Ricky Williams, Bobby L. Williams, and Jeff (Suzanne) Williams; two grandchildren, Roger Mitchell, Hadley Mitchell; her bonus daughter, Rebecca Joyce Busby; and a host of extended family and friends.
Graveside services will be held at New Palestine Cemetery (2336 Palestine Road, Picayune, MS, 39466) on Monday, May 1, 2023 at 1:00 pm.
