Sherry Lynn Temple went home to be with God on Sunday April 28, 2024.
Sherry was born in Picayune, MS to parents L.D. Stockstill and Mary Lee Stockstill, and had a large family with many siblings. She a proud mother and grandmother, who spent many years doing bodywork on cars, and enjoyed bird watching, gardening, and playing computer games.
She was happily married for 27 years to John Temple, was a big fan of the Wolf River Band, where she occasionally played tambourine, and never missed a show.
Sherry is preceded in death by her daughter Dana Renee Shoemake, parents L.D. Stockstill, Mary Stockstill, brothers Billy Fred Stockstill, Lawerence Delaine Stockstill, Robert Dale Stockstill, and sister Mary Yvonne May.
She is survived by her loving husband John Temple, sisters Rhoda Glasenapp (David), Chylene Hambrice, Beedie Ann Tarver, Nayda White, brothers Deloyd Stockstill, C.P. Stockstill, two grandchildren, and a host of nieces and nephews.
