Stanley James Lawrence, age 58, of Picayune, Mississippi, passed away Saturday March 19, 2016. He was born June 4, 1957, in Dansville, New York.
A Funeral Service will be held on Thursday March 24, 2016, at Corinth Baptist Church, in Nicholson, Mississippi. Visitation will be held from 12:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. with services at 2:00 p.m. Interment at Old Palestine Cemetery, Nicholson, Mississippi, with Bro Scott Downes officiating.
He is survived by his father, Merton Lawrence, of Picayune, Mississippi, his mother, Althea Ezell of Humble, Texas, wife, Ruby Lawrence, of Nicholson, Mississippi, one son Stephen Lawrence (Victoria), one daughter Tonilynn Reynolds (Robert) all of Picayune, Mississippi.
Two brothers, John L. Lawrence, of Houston, Texas, and John Williamson of Picayune, Mississippi. Nine sisters, Laurie Napier, of Saucier, Mississippi, Cindy Waddell, Joann Brumley, Peggy Lee, and Joyce Peschek all of Picayune, Mississippi. Lynn Etherton, of Carriere, Mississippi, Carol Gonzales of Poplarville, Mississippi, Violet Smith, and Marilyn" MeMe" Adams both of Gulfport, Mississippi. Four grandchildren, Andrea Lawrence, Stephen A. Lawrence, Juliana Lawrence, and Joanna Reynolds. Mary Ann Lawrence, mother of his children.
Preceded in death by his, Step-mother, Florence Lawrence. Three brothers, Kirk Lawrence, Norman Ratcliff, and Michael Ratcliff.
