Steven Anthony Blackwell, age 63, of Carriere, Mississippi passed away Wednesday, July 11, 2018.
Memorial services will be held by the family at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, July 14, 2018 at Pine Grove Baptist Church with Bro. Scott Downes officiating.
Mr. Blackwell was a lifelong resident of Picayune, of the Baptist faith and a tug boat captain.
He is survived by his wife, Elizabeth Marie Perilloux Blackwell of Carriere, Mississippi; stepsons, Stan Padgett (Ann), Joshua Padgett (Amanda) and Justin Padgett of North Carolina; stepdaughter, Jessica Padgett of Carriere, Mississippi; brother, Bobby Blackwell of Waveland, Mississippi; sisters, Helen Seals and Bonnie Dawsey of Carriere, Mississippi and eight grandchildren, Kimberly, Alexis, Stan, Adam, Katie, Anthony, John and Aydin.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Robert Blackwell and Alice Ladner Blackwell; brother, Larry Blackwell; sister, Linda Fleming, and grandson, Justin Padgett, Jr.
