Thomas D. Bilbo

Thomas D. Bilbo, Sr., age 72, passed away Friday, December 14, 2012, at Ochsner Medical Center in New Orleans, Louisiana.
Visitation will be from 6:00-9:00 p.m., Sunday, December 16, 2012, at Picayune Funeral Home. The Funeral Service will be 10:00 a.m., Monday, December 17, 2012, at Hillcrest Road Baptist Church, with Bro. Travis Moore, Bro. Jeremy Williams, and Bro. Kevin Neary officiating. Burial will follow at Pearson Cemetery in the direction of Picayune Funeral Home.
Thomas was a member of Hillcrest Road Baptist Church, a veteran of the Air National Guard, and a machinist.
He is survived by his wife, Carolyn Moore Bilbo of Carriere; his son, Thomas D. "Tommy" Bilbo, Jr. of California; his two daughters, Tamela "Tammy" Ladner of Necaise and Teresa Norris of Columbia; his four sisters, Wanda J. Orr of Carriere, Delano "Del" Cook of Carriere, Myra F. Lee of Picayune, and Reva Deason of Picayune; five grandchildren, and one great-grandchild.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Arthur Carr Bilbo and Eula Blanche Pearson Bilbo; one brother, Dwight A. Bilbo; and one sister, Ruby Slatten.
Arrangements are under the direction of Picayune Funeral Home and Crematory.
