Valerie Valice Roberts, age 46, of Picayune, Mississippi passed away Monday, January 27, 2014.
A family memorial service will be held Friday, February 7, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. at Westlawn Baptist Church. There will be a balloon release and food following the services at Walkiah Bluff Water Park.
She is survived by her mother, Sonja Ruth Croft Roberts of New Hope, Florida; husband, Melvin A. Hakes of Picayune; daughters, Natasha L. (Dustin) Roberts of Picayune and Alisha Mae Roberts of Picayune; brother, William D. (Cynthia) Roberts, Jr.; five grandchildren; and two nephews.
She is preceded in death by her father, William D. Roberts, Sr.; brother, David P. Roberts; and one grandchild.
