Vernon Wesley Randolph, 77, of Carriere, Mississippi, died on Wednesday, August 30, 2023.
He was born September 22, 1945 in Dallas, Texas. He retired from the United States Army in 1982 and had service during the Vietnam War. He enjoyed woodworking and retired from Textron Marine as a shipfitter.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Jessie Lee Randolph and Bessie M. Weber Randolph; two brothers, James Randolph, Frank Randolph; four sisters, Nellie Stewart, Francis Dial, Betty Randolph, Elsie Goodwin; and one stepson, Joey Phillips.
He married the former Louella "Lou" Flanders Randolph on Valentine's Day, 1990.
In addition to his beloved wife, he is survived by one son, Richard M. Randolph and his wife, Pia; one daughter, Caroline M. Estopinal; four stepsons, Donald Phillips, Timmy Phillips, Louis Phillips, Jesse Phillips; one stepdaughter, Alice Guidry; grandchildren, Courtney Randolph, Alyssa Randolph, Matthew Randolph, Christopher Randolph, Richard "Ryan" Estopinal, Travis Estopinal; and a host of great grandchildren, extended family, and friends.
Private services will be held at a later date.
