Victor Clay, age 89, of Picayune passed away Sunday, August 3, 2008 at Covenant Health and Rehab.
Funeral Services will be held Tuesday, August 5th at 11:00 a.m. at Pine Grove Baptist church with Bro. Arlis Grice officiating, with Bro. Allen Hickman and Bro. Tim Mims assisting. Burial will follow at Pine Grove Cemetery, under the direction of Picayune Funeral Home. A time of visitation will be on Tuesday, August 5th
from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at Pine Grove Baptist Church.
Mr. Clay, a former resident of Columbus, GA, was an independent insurance agent, a U.S. Navy Veteran and a member of Pine Grove Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife, Emily Lou Clay of Carriere; two daughters, Cheryl Huffstickler of Carriere and Sue Johnston of Texas;daughter-in-law, Harriet Reeves of Louisiana;seven grandchildren; six great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
He is preceded in death by his son, Jerry M. Reeves.
