Virginia Jean Smith, age 73, formerly of Picayune passed away Tuesday, November 10, 2009 at Memorial Hospital in Gulfport.
Graveside services will be held Friday, November 13th at 2:00 p.m. at New Palestine Cemetery, with Bro. Noah Hollis officiating.
Visitation will be Friday, November 13th at New Palestine Cemetery, from 1:00 p.m. until time of service. Burial will follow at New Palestine Cemetery
Jean moved to Picayune from Gilbert, LA twenty five years ago and was a homemaker. She was a member of Church of God of Prophecy.
She is survived by her two sisters, Ida Mae Sander of Picayune and Elonor Marie Peavy of Meridian.
She is preceded in death by her two daughters, Ann Smith and Ellen Smith.
