Wadena Mae Roberts

Wadena Mae Whatley Roberts of Picayune, Mississippi went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, June 15, 2022, at the age of 84.
Wadena was a lifelong resident of Picayune, a devoted member of Goodyear Baptist church and enjoyed singing in the choir.
She is survived by her son, Kevin Roberts; daughter, Jamee Diane Roberts- Callahan; grandchildren: Meredith Palmore, Michael Palmore, Morgan Palmore, Benjamin Roberts, Lucinda Roberts, and Brandon Rose; great-grandchildren, Abigail Palmore, Gavin Palmore, Lillianna Thomas-Palmore, Aiden Roberts, and Alyster Roberts; son in law's, Carroll Palmore and Harold Callahan.
She is preceded by her parents, Wade and Irene Whatley; husband Gene Raymond Roberts; daughter, Katherine Lynn Roberts-Palmore; brother, James Wade Whatley.
Visitation will be held 1:00 p.m.-2:00 p.m. Tuesday June 21, 2022, at Goodyear Baptist Church, officiated by Bro. Jeremy Williams. Burial to follow at New Palestine Cemetery.
