Waughndel Stricker

Waughndel "Del" Key Stricker was born to Robert and Georgia Key on September 13, 1933. She married the love of her life, Ralph L. Stricker, on June 22, 1952. Del went to her reward to live with her Lord at 5:30 a.m. on May 22, 2021 at the age of 87.

Ralph and Del dedicated their lives to serving the Lord. They were faithful servants in each place that God led them. Del served alongside Ralph in leadership and together they were faithful to the hospital ministry. She was a prayer warrior and intercessor. Del also ministered in many areas including Children's Church, organizing dinners, decorations, and anywhere else she could.

She was preceded in death by her parents, four brothers and two sisters. Del is survived by her loving husband, Ralph Stricker, Sr.; her children- Vicki Dean, Valori Jackson (Mike), and Ralph, Jr. "Dusty" Stricker (Vicki); seven grandchildren- Israel Dean (Melisa), Brian Dean (Tiffani), Scott Jackson (Brittany), Michael Dean (Diana), Dustin Stricker (Hailey), Kaci Dean, and Callan Stricker; fourteen great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews, and countless children in the Lord. She loved them all dearly.

A family and friend's visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m. followed by the Memorial Service at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, May 29, 2021, at The House Slidell, 1000 Caruso Blvd Ste 401 Slidell, Louisiana 70461.
