Wendell Herman Kennedy

Wendell Herman Kennedy, age 71, of Carriere, MS passed away Wednesday, August 15, 2012 at Forrest General Hospital in Hattiesburg.
Visitation will be held at Hillcrest Baptist Church on Saturday, August 18, 2012 from 9:00a.m. until 10:00 a.m. Funeral Services will follow at 10:00 a.m. at Hillcrest Baptist Church with Bro. Kevin Neary officiating. Burial will be at West Union Cemetery under the direction of Picayune Funeral Home.
Wendell was a life time resident of Pearl River County, truck driver and a member of Hillcrest Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife, Jeanette Hill Kennedy of Carriere; Two Sons, Alex (Janet) Kennedy of Poplarville and Leland (Punkin) Kennedy of Carriere; Three grandchildren Stephen Smith, Brandon McQueen and Alexandra Kennedy; One great-grandchild, Bryce McQueen.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Herman Kennedy and Hester Lumpkin Kennedy.
