William Fred Bounds, Jr. age 88, of Picayune, Mississippi passed away Saturday, November 15, 2014.
Visitation will be held Tuesday, November 18, 2014 10:00 a.m.-11:00 a.m. at Salem Landmark Missionary Baptist Church. Funeral Services will follow at 11:00 a.m. with Bro. Gary Sumrall and Bro Dewayne Long officiating. Burial will follow at Gipson Cemetery under the direction of Picayune Funeral Home.
Fred was a member of Salem Landmark Missionary Baptist Church, a carpenter, and served with the Army in Korea.
He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Lou Ola Bounds of Picayune, two sons; Scott (Sue) Bounds of Picayune, Michael (Kathy) Bounds, of Carriere; one daughter, Taryn Bounds of Picayune, 10 grandchildren, and 20 great-grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by one son, Don Bounds, one daughter, Paula Bounds Bennett, two brothers; Kenny Bounds, J.R. Bounds; five sisters, Wilkie Landrum, Sarah Mitchell, Bonnie Tate, Eula Parish, and Ethel Mitchell.
