William Ralph Jackson, Jr., age 82, of Carriere, Mississippi passed away Thursday, May 4, 2017. He was born November 10, 1934 in Harlingen, Texas.
Visitation will be held Saturday, May 13, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. at Church of the Way. A memorial service held by the family will follow at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Curtis Merritt officiating.
Mr. Jackson was the Pastor at Church of the Way beginning in 1974 and Veteran of the U.S. Navy. He was also a Manger for IBM in New Orleans prior to coming to Picayune.
He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Janet Jackson of Picayune; two sons, Kent Jackson and his wife Kim of Picayune, and Mike Jackson and his wife Valori of Picayune; grandchildren, Hannah Jackson, Scott Jackson and his wife Brittany, and Amanda Jackson; and great-grandchildren, Everleigh Jackson, Arianna Montano, and Anzlee Jackson.
He is preceded in death by his parents, William R. Jackson, Sr. and Anna G. Jackson; one son, David Jackson; one brother, Carl Jackson; and one sister, Martha Cobb.
