William Carley Jenkins, age 54, of Picayune passed away Tuesday, January 19, 2009 at his residence.
Memorial Services will be held Friday, January 22nd at 7:00 p.m. at Church of God of Prophecy, 1811 E. Canal St., Picayune, with Bro. Noah Hollis officiating.
William Carley was born in Bogalusa, LA and had lived in this area all his life. He was a self-employed roofer, a Baptist and a U.S. Air Force Veteran.
He is survived by his mother, Ida Mae Sander of Nicholson; three sons, William Denman Jenkins of Greenville, SC, William Neal Jenkins of Louisiana and Norman Ray Stockstill of Picayune; four daughters, Mary Ann Allday of Louisiana, Patience Story of Benton, Arkansas, Sunshine Stanley of Louisiana and Ida Mae Jenkins of Louisiana; one brother, Thomas Jenkins of Picayune; two sisters, Lona Elizabeth Stockstill of Carriere and Sally Mae Walker of Nicholson and eight grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his father, Denman Thomas Jenkins and four brothers, Kenny Jenkins, Harold Morgan, Walter Jenkins and David Jenkins.
