William "Bill" Edwynn Long
Bill, who was a resident of Carriere, Mississippi, since 2006, passed away on September 14, 2022, at the age of 88.
Bill retired, after 33 years, from Chevron Corporation as a Petroleum Engineer.
He was a church leader as a Deacon for the First Presbyterian Church of Picayune.
He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Marjorie Payne Long; son Brian (Melissa) Long; daughter Tracy Long; Brother James Long (Alieze); Five grandchildren which includes Jade Eastridge (Ryan), Brooke Long, and Luke Long of Carriere, MS; and numerous nieces and nephews including his niece Toni Taylor of Dallas, TX.
He is preceded in death by parents Ernest LeRoy and Lorena Green Long; and brother, Pete Long.
A Celebration of Life will be held at the First Presbyterian Church of Picayune, Mississippi.
Services will be Tuesday, September 27th 11:00 a.m.
