William Thomas Patch

William Thomas Patch of Carriere, Mississippi passed away Monday, September 18, 2023, at the age of 85, in the comfort of his home.

William was a native of Pearl River County. He served in the US Army and later worked in the ship building industry for many years. He worked in construction until retirement. He enjoyed hunting and fishing but especially fishing and spent a lot of time at the fishing camp on Pearl River with family. He loved doing yard work and keeping everything mowed. He worked hard and loved his family. Above everything earthly, he loved the love of his life, Maureen.

He is preceded by his parents, Vernon Patch, and Hattie Mae Smith; daughter, Tabitha Patch; two brothers, Percell Patch and Pernell Patch; one sister, Erselle Meitzler.

Left to cherish his memory include his wife, Maureen Patch; son, Steve Patch (Donna); daughter, Bridget Seal (Danny); grandchildren, Cameron Spiers (Katherine), Cody Seal, and Alyssa Shirley (Derek); two great-grandchildren, Ellie Shirley and Becca Shirley.

Visitation will be held 2:00 p.m.-3:00 p.m. at Central Baptist Church Thursday, September 21, 2023, with services at 3:00 p.m. Burial to follow to Carriere Cemetery.
